Roadshows
The RiverRun International Film Festival will provide a sneak peek of the 2010 film Festival by doing what we call Roadshows.  This tradition includes traveling to regional towns with a 15 minute preview reel that highlights the upcoming Festival’s films and is followed by Q & A with a RiverRun staff member.  The Roadshows gather anywhere from 40-100 people and often have complimentary beverages to make it a fun filled event. 

March 17th / 6:30 pm - Charlotte's Light Factory
Charlottes' Contemporary Museum of Photography and Film - it is one of only four museums for photography and film in the United States.  This event is sponsored by Charlotte's Light Factory and complimentary wine will be served.

March 18th / 6:30 pm - Greensboro's Weatherspoon Museum
Affiliated with UNCG, the Museum has one of the foremost collections of modern and contemporary art in the Southeast.  This event is sponsored by Greensboro's Weatherspoon Museum and REI Greensboro.

March 19th / 7.00pm - Kernersville's The Factory
The previous Hooker Furniture Factory, now renovated into retail, commercial, and living space in Downtown Kernersville. Sponsored by the Kernersville Little Theater, the Shops at the Factory, and the Kernersville Downtown Preservation & Development Council.

March 20th / 8:30 pm - Asheville's Fine Arts Theatre
This event is sponsored by the Fine Arts Theatre, Asheville's destination for art and independent film. Complimentary pints will be offered by French Broad Brewery who craft traditional European style beers and is the first microbrewery to convert waste vegetable oil as a primary fuel source.

March 24th / 6:30 pm - Salisbury's Literary Bookpost
Salisbury's local independent book store dedicated to collecting the written word & sharing it with the Salisbury Community. This event is sponsored by the Literary Bookpost and complimentary beverages will be served by United Beverage featuring craft beers including "Fat Tire."

March 25 and 29 / 5:45pm - Winston-Salem's a/perture cinema
Two chances to view the RiverRun clip reel where much of the action will be happening during the Festival, a/perture cinema.

April 1st / 7.00pm - Winston-Salem's Krankie's
SECCA's Art of the Grind film series at Krankie's Coffee in Downtown Winston-Salem.
