RiverRun is looking for social media-savvy students to be our Festival Ambassadors. This select group of students will promote the different aspects of the festival in the weeks leading up to RiverRun’s 2017 Festival (March 30 – April 9, 2017). Our goal is to increase awareness and involvement in this entertaining and enlightening cultural event to a younger generation of film-lovers in the local community.Plea


Ambassadors will promote Festival events to their friends and followers through the use of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and blogging – we request at least three (3) or more mentions on these sites per week leading up to and during the Festival. Other responsibilities may include sharing about the Festival with your campus and social organizations, giving feedback about events and poster distribution. Please note that this does not qualify as an internship.

Who we’re looking for: Socially-connected collegiate film enthusiasts from all over the Triad. Must have active Facebook page and Twitter account, Instagram and/or blog with a substantial number of followers!


Incentives: Ambassadors who frequently promote RiverRun using their social media outlets will receive RiverRun swag bags,  film vouchers, a RiverRun Ambassador badgeas well as the opportunity to network with donors and sponsors. (Perks are based on the frequency social broadcast.)
