15th Annual Pitch Fest Student Film Competitions

Join us for our student filmmaking competition that showcases the next generation of storytellers. Student filmmakers from a consortium of colleges and universities across the southeast present original film projects to a panel of industry professionals for feedback and evaluation. Cash awards of $1,000 (First Place) and $500 (Second Place) are presented to the outstanding pitches.

This year, we have double the excitement with two Pitch Fests—narrative competition on April 18 and documentary competition on April 25.

Schools participating this year at time of publication include: Appalachian State University, East Carolina University, NC State University, Tulane University, University of Florida, UNCSA, and Wake Forest University.

Special Guest Judges: Hannah Black, Resita Cox, Emily Foster, Marie Jamora, Michael Lippert, and Megan Petersen.
