SYNOPSIS:

A family investigates the history and memory of the Nazi Aktion T4 program that targeted over 300,000 disabled people and catalyzed the Holocaust. Through poignant discussions with memorial directors, advocates, and relatives of T4 victims, this film uncovers the haunting truth of a history that has long been obscured. The documentary reveals how disabled individuals were the initial victims of the Third Reich, paving the way for the atrocities that followed. It was executive produced by disability advocates and actors Steve Way (Ramy) and Nic Novicki (The Sopranos / Boardwalk Empire). The film world premiered at Slamdance and won the Unstoppable Audience Award.
