SYNOPSIS:

Our Film Noir Friday screening this year is the wonderful 1953 Technicolor thriller starring Marilyn Monroe as Rose Loomis, a femme fatale plotting to murder her older, jealous husband, George (Joseph Cotten), while vacationing at Niagara Falls. The plot intensifies when another couple, the Cutlers (Jean Peters and Casey Adams), become entangled in the couple’s dangerous, deceitful, and turbulent relationship.

 

The film will be preceded by a special introduction by Film Historian Renata Jackson.
