Saturday Morning Cartoons

Each year, RiverRun presents our own version of Saturday Morning Cartoons to our young audiences. We search high and low for the best new animated shorts that we think will appeal to both children and adults alike. Titles in this program include: Bonders, Buon Ferragosto, Distance, Feeling Special, Kaghati, ”Meet Cute,” The Most Boring Granny in the Whole World, Processing Magic, Town Hall Square, and Witchfairy.

Bonders

Bonders is a glimpse into a sci-fi epic from the creators of The Dragon Prince and head writer of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Set in the near future, Bonders is a story of twin brothers, Tyler and Edison, who are both gifted pilots. The short follows Edison, born with cerebral palsy, as he adapts and improvises in unconventional ways on his journey to become a cadet at the elite Global Guardians Academy. Buon Ferragosto
