In her directorial debut, actress Joanna Gleason creates a poignant, funny film about Alice Kendall (Betsy Brandt), who after the death of her fiancé, inherits half ownership of The Grotto, a struggling desert nightclub where she discovers eccentric performers and a heartbreaking secret.
