Time Bomb Y2K
DIRECTOR(S):
Brian Becker, Marley McDonald SYNOPSIS:
Crafted entirely from archival material, this film traces the evolution of the ”millennium bug” from technical error to societal crisis. Home video and raw footage provide first-hand accounts from computer programmers, doomsday survivalists, militia members, apocalyptic Christians, and everyday Americans who grapple with the potential for disaster as the year 2000 approaches. By examining this hinge point between millennia, the film interrogates our ever-changing relationship to technology and each other.
Only screening in person.
