Packed with sword fights and sea battles, the 1926 silent film The Black Pirate is stuffed to the gills with action and adventure. Offering up a swashbuckling hero (played by Douglas Fairbanks), a classic damsel in distress and a whole slew of dastardly villains, the film showcases early Hollywood moviemaking at its best.  The film has grown to become one of the all-time greatest action classics and will be accompanied by a live performance courtesy of the Alloy Orchestra.
