Unraveling one of the biggest environmental scandals of our time, a group of West Virginians take on the powerful DuPont corporation, the creators of Teflon, after discovering health problems that are direct consequences of their proximity to questionable chemicals the company produced. Learning that a chemical involved in the making of DuPont products, C8, is now found in the blood of 99.7% of Americans and is being knowingly dumped into the town’s drinking water supply, locals take it upon themselves to hold the company accountable for their actions. Directors Stephanie Soechtig and Jeremy Seifert deliver a harrowing investigative documentary that touches both the lives of the local whistle blowers and the rest of the country living in the shadow of C8.
