Two halves form a harmonious whole in this ingenious documentary-narrative hybrid film. In part one, Abby, a 20-something Brooklynite, prepares to throw an intimate dinner party, a meticulously planned evening that takes an unexpected turn when the guest of honor shows up and raw emotions rise to the surface. Then suddenly, we are whisked away to an altogether different reality–one that both deepens and challenges our understanding of what came before. We are very pleased to present this singular and reflective collaboration between three dear friends of the Festival in RiverRun Advisory Board members Michael Koresky, Jeff Reichert and Farihah Zaman.
