Synopsis

Three women–Ruth, Esther and Saratu–were forced to flee their homes when the dreaded militant group Boko Haram invaded their village in northeast Nigeria. Their powerful testimonies also serve as a surrogate voice for the thousands of girls and women who were abducted, raped and displaced during the decade-long insurgency.
