This warm documentary follows Cecy and Camilo Ramirez, newly married and only 21 years of age, and their two year old daughter, Loida. The couple has been forced to leave Loida with Cecy’s parents while they work long hours in another town, earning only minimum wage, to save enough money to buy land and build their own house. During a holiday visit in Puebla with their daughter, though, Cecy decides she wants to stay with Loida instead of returning to the life she has been working to build in Reynosa, a choice that puts a strain on her relationship with Camilo. Filmed over the course of four years and utilizing a variety of film equipment, this verite film tells a simple, yet complex, story of the power of a dream and how the love of a family can help people reach their goals.
