Come and hear from Rebecca Clark, the Executive Director of the Piedmont Triad Film Commission, and a panel of filmmaker and legislative guests talk about what the current state of filmmaking is like in our region and state. The Piedmont Triad Film Commission was formed in 1993 and represents a centrally located twelve-county region of North Carolina including and surrounding the three major cities of Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and High Point. They work to promote local film crews and thousands of sites to recruit film, TV, video, and commercial business. So, come learn about what it takes to make a film here, how it impacts job growth and economic development, and about how we can help legislators better understand the importance of filmmaking in North Carolina.
