Told from the point of view of the activists and leaders who lived and breathed the movement for justice day in and day out, Whose Streets? is an unflinching look into the lives of people in Ferguson, Missouri who took justice into their own hands after the killing of their neighbor Mike Brown at the hands of the police. Filmed with striking immediacy, the film follows the community as they joined together and decided to fight back, starting a global movement in the process.

In St. Louis County, Missouri, a county used to grief, long-standing tension and renewed anger, this tragedy marked a breaking point which brought diverse residents together to hold vigils and protest. In the weeks that followed, artists, musicians, teachers and parents turned into freedom fighters, standing on the front lines to demand justice and equality. As the National Guard descended on Ferguson with military-grade weaponry, this community became the torchbearers of a new wave of resistance and decided to fight to win back the streets of their neighborhood.
