Synopsis

During the 1945 Red Army invasion of Berlin, German women were brutally tormented by their liberators, forcing them to find new ways to adapt.  In order to protect herself from further abuse, a former journalist seeks out a protector, but the encounter develops into a complicated symbiotic relationship that forces them both to re-evaluate their lives.
