A genre, a character, a line of dialogue and a prop–those four elements were what teams of filmmakers drew at random on a Friday afternoon this summer in Greensboro as they began the challenge of writing and producing a short film for the 2019 Greensboro 48 Hour Film Project! The best films were selected by judges and screened in Greensboro during an awards ceremony, and now we’re bringing those films to Winston-Salem for an encore presentation. RiverRun International Film Festival, a sponsor of the Greensboro 48 Hour Film Project, will present “The Best of the 2019 Greensboro 48 Hour Film Project” at Marketplace Cinemas on Thursday, September 12. Tickets are $3 and will be available at the door on the night of the screening. Iris Carter, director of the Greensboro 48 Hour Film Project, will be on hand to introduce the screening.
