FREE EVENT: We are partnering with our neighbors in Elkin to highlight the great preservation work that was done on the Reeves Theater. Once a vibrant 700-seat movie theater the venue fell into disrepair until a group of local citizens decided to renovate it. We will screen the documentary Reeves: A Home for Music, which follows the artists and community leaders as they transform the now abandoned 1940s movie theater into a vibrant new music venue and event space, and then have a panel discussion with the filmmaker Michael Lippert and those involved in the renovation process.
